The vehicle having a place with a missing 20-year-old lady was found submerged in the Missouri River with the body of a female inside.
Toni Anderson vanished almost two months back while driving from her server work at a Kansas City bar to meet her companions downtown, the Kansas City Star detailed. A volunteer save group utilizing sonar could find the 20-year-old’s 2012 Ford Focus submerged close Parkville around 6 p.m. Friday.
“We just got the news — there’s a body in her auto. There is someone inside,” her mom, Liz Anderson, told the daily paper through her cries.
The auto was found a couple of feet off the bank from Platte Landing Park. Police said there did not seem, by all accounts, to be any kind of unfairness.
“I simply don’t know how she arrived,” Liz Anderson said. “It doesn’t bode well, one piece.”
Anderson was most recently seen Jan. 15 after she exited work around 4 a.m. She was pulled over by a North Kansas City cop on Missouri 9 for a shameful path change. She told the cop she was practically out of gas, so he let her off with a notice and looked as she headed to a Quick Trip adjacent, the Star announced.
“After that Quick Trip it was practically similar to she vanished,” police representative Darin Snapp revealed to Fox 4KC at the time.
